I just can’t get the lyrics from that classic tune Car Wash by Rose Royce out of my head when reflecting on the fun times we had last weekend at the EIM Ice Cream and Detailing Day. Not only did we enjoy the best weather day of the week, but also a wonderful turnout of local MINIs (needing a good bath) and MINI motorists (needing ice cream treats, some therapeutic car washing, and some fine buffet dining). The local twisties between Iowa City and Riverside were icing on the cake.

Sincere thanks to our dear motoring mate Bill S. for his generosity in allowing us to descend en masse on the Riverside Auto Spa, for the thoughtful goodie bags chock full of wash items and a token for the wash bays, and for the sweet touches such as raising the MINI flag and posting the EIM welcome on the marquee. Much appreciated!

It was also great getting to meet new EIMers Bob and Kim H. and Todd and Lisa J. for the first time. Both couples hail from the Iowa City area. Welcome!
