Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday, March 22 for the first MINI meet of the year!
The turnout was much better than expected at our “Spring has Sprung” gathering given the fact of competing Easter weekend family commitments. The food and ale at Granite City in Cedar Rapids was superb, and we even managed to “recruit” a new EIM’er who happened to be in the restaurant while our group was there!
We circulated a draft EIM 2008 Activity Planning calendar and discussed some of the motoring opportunities that will be available this year (a copy of this calendar can be accessed in the “Event Planning and Ideas” thread in our NAM forum).
Thanks again for coming out, and hope to see you all again soon. Bring your MINI friends!

The Meet & Eat at Granite City was a big success. Thanks to the organizers. It was a blast to see the 15+ MINIs lined up in the parking lot – each and every one unique. The food and company was stellar, as well.
