Tour de Force

The promise of fantastic weather, an interesting and enjoyable route, and superb MINI fellowship brought out the motorists in big numbers for the 11th Annual MINICooperIowa Fall Tour this past Saturday. The rendezvous in Pella with our friends from the Central Iowa MINI Club (CIMC) netted a grand total of 38 MINIs for this drive — the largest number of MINIs and MINI motorists that have assembled in the history of this event. Thanks to everyone who joined in!

We extend our thanks to CIMC for planning the Fall Tour this year. Particular thanks to Jeremy M. for leading the effort, to Roger S. and Greg and Judy B. for the route planning, and to Larry H. for leading the subset of EIMers who chose to caravan together from Iowa City to Pella.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the fine folks at MINI of Des MoinesWillis Auto Campus for all of their generous contributions to this event.
