An enthusiastic and sizable group of our MINI friends enjoyed a great day of spirited motoring in and around the bluffs and hills of NE Iowa and SE Minnesota at our Third EIM Border Skirmish Drive yesterday. The weather remained cooperative all day allowing us to spread our wings on some of the best twisty roads in the region, including some new roads that will certainly remain among our favorites.

It was fun having our MINIs “inspected” by the famous Decorah Eagles. The chicken BBQ at Covey’s Little Miami was an unexpected bonus, and it was great to cap off the day at Coopers Pub in Decorah with refreshments and the sharing of motoring stories from the day.
