“Ladies and Gentlemen, We’re #1 for Take-Off…”

Just one of the many fun and “wild” activities we enjoyed in our MINIs at the EIM Wild Ride held this past Saturday in and around the areas of Linn County to the north of Cedar Rapids. From the fun lunch at Sonic, to the aerial photography (and screaming down the runway at take-off speed!) at the Marion Airport; the elk and the scenery at Pinicon Ridge County Park and the alpacas near Alburnett; the buffalo on the horizon  ; David V. winning the special “wild ride” at Lewis Bottoms Farms; the scenic roads and “MINI Pop” in Pleasant Creek State Park; and last but not least the cold treats at Culvers. Non-stop MINI fun!

EIM extends our most sincere thanks to Daryl H. for all of his energy, creativity, and generosity in putting on this drive…and not to mention the nifty “I Love EIM” buttons for everyone, for leading the drive, for setting up the aerial photos with the airport, for arranging the special “wild ride,” for the cooler full of “MINI pop,” for creating and presenting us with the awesome MINI picture mats, and for gifting everyone with the Culvers coupons (whew!).  His spirit of service and giving made it a very special day for us all, and we can’t thank him enough.

We have a ton of cool pictures from our day, including a bunch taken from the air above our MINIs at the airport. You can find them by browsing in our EIM Photo Gallery or go to them directly by using the following link:

Thanks much to all for the super showing — it was great to see so many of our MINI friends!
