July 2010 found Mother Nature to be in a cranky mood indeed. The flooding rains and high waters on the Mighty Mississippi prevented us from answering the burning question…

“How many MINIs can you embark at one time on an advertised 9 car capacity ferry?”

And thus the rationale behind this reprised EIM Cassville Ferry Drive which starts and ends in Dubuque, IA on Saturday, July 23rd with an initial rendezvous time of 9:15 am. We need to know the answer!

We’ll be heading up the Iowa side of the river to the Cassville Ferry Iowa Landing for embarkation.  The ferry fare is $15 per vehicle.  Lunch is planned at the superb Potosi Brewing Company, followed by outstanding MINI motoring on the great back roads of Grant County, WI. The day will wrap with group photos at the Dubuque Town Clock followed by dinner at the Shot Tower Inn.
