We certainly found some of the twistiest roads in our region during EIM’s participation in A Wisconsin Alphabet Soup Twisty Drive with the Chicago MINI Driving Group (CMDG) on Saturday, July 18th.
It was fun motoring with everyone! In the course of finding some creative “work-arounds” after stumbling into a couple of road closures on CR-P and WI-80, we managed to find some awesome paved county roads with nice, smooth surfaces and a ton of 15 and 25 mph turns (for mere mortal cars, that is
). We had a great lunch in Spring Green, WI with the Chicago folks and stopped for an evening meal at a nice brewpub in Dubuque on the way home.
We’ve posted a few pictures in our EIM Gallery. Check it out!

Lots of great driving and fellowship all around — thanks to all!

We will continue to update the rendezvous information in this post as the details emerge. Please stay tuned!
