We had the pleasure of a big group of MINIs and MINI enthusiasts and nearly perfect weather at this year’s Holy Cross Festival and Parade, held this past Saturday in Holy Cross. It was great to have such a large presence in the parade this year. The assortment of food and drink after the parade was amazing, with the broasted chicken seemingly exceeding its past lofty standards. A new twist was the slot car competition, great fun despite the fact that Steve B. managed to thoroughly kick our butts on the track. A most enjoyable day from start to finish.

We just can’t thank Linda and Tom R. enough for their generosity and hospitality in hosting our group in their home after the parade. They go above and beyond expectations every year and make the event extra special for us all. You folks are the best. Once again, thanks!

It was great meeting new MINIs and new folks too: Duane and Barbara G., Dave and Angel S., and Jeff N.’s buddy Jon from Ottumwa. Glad you all could join us!
