That is, of course, to the question “How many MINIs can you get on a 9-car ferry?” which our intrepid group tested in true Mythbusters fashion last Saturday at the Cassville Ferry Drive – Reprised event. We were all convinced that there was plenty of real estate on the ferry for three more, but our cadre of twelve MINIs exactly matched the maximum allowed by the loadmaster. As it was, it made for a perfect EIM MINI-dominated cruise!

In addition to the ferry ride over and down the mighty Mississippi River, we had a super time motoring on the hills and twisties of Dubuque County (IA) and Grant County (WI) and fun stops at the Potosi Brewing Company in Potosi, WI for lunch and the Shot Tower Inn back in Dubuque for supper. It was great to have new MINI mates Richard and Jenny B., Jeff and Lavonne C., and Larry D. (and their sweet MINIs too) along for the ride with us!
